Where are your offices located?
Coldwell Banker La Costa has three offices: Marina Vallarta and the Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and Sayulita in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit. All three are open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Can I buy property in Mexico as a foreigner?
Yes. Foreign buyers purchase coastal property in Mexico through a bank trust known as a fideicomiso, or through a Mexican corporation. Our AMPI-certified advisors walk you through the structure, the notary process and closing costs before you commit to anything.
How quickly will someone respond to my enquiry?
An advisor typically responds the same day. If your enquiry comes in outside office hours, expect a reply the following morning. For anything time-sensitive, call the office nearest the property you are interested in.
Do you help with property management and rentals?
Yes. Several of our teams handle rental and property management for owners who are not in Mexico full time. Mention it in your message and we will connect you with the right advisor.
What is AMPI certification and why does it matter?
AMPI is the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals. Mexico does not have a nationwide real estate licensing requirement the way the United States and Canada do, so AMPI certification is one of the clearest signals that an agent is trained, accountable and operating to a professional code of ethics.
