Nik was a joy to work with! The breath of his local knowledge of Puerto Vallarta and its environs along with a thorough real estate expertise was invaluable to us novice to a foreign investment in Mexico. I had a lot with a beautiful view of the ocean in Centro in Puerto Vallarta. I wanted to build a house there but then the great recession and a divorce came. So, I never did. In the spring of 2022, I decided to sell it. The first agent I ever talked to was Nik Valcic on a Friday afternoon in April. I was impressed when I met him the next day at the property. He brought his drone to document the most important aspect of the property, the gorgeous view of the bay of Banderas. The list price he suggested seemed reasonable and the listing agreement was definitely fair. We got two good offers quickly and were under contract soon. With the unavoidable delays and surprises in Mexico, like an encroachment of a neighbor’s wall on my property, the back and forth how to resolve this, everything took quite a while and required six amendments to the contract. I have done about 20 real estate transactions in the United States, and I could tell Nik was really giving me straight advice and looked out for my best interest and not just tried to sell as quickly as possible to get his commission. Eventually, after about 5 ½ months we went to the Notario and got the deal done. I do not know whether I will buy another property in Mexico. If so, definitely in Puerto Vallarta. And in that case, I know the man to go to: Nik Valcic. Competent, honest, and good communication. What more do you want? He is the man to go to if you want to buy or sell real estate in Puerto Vallarta!
