Mateo Roberts

Mateo Roberts was born in Yelapa, Jalisco. A small fishing village one hour south of Puerto Vallarta, to parents from California. He was raised there until the age of ten, when his family moved back to the USA.

Mateo pursued a career in woodworking, becoming a master cabinet maker and kitchen designer, based in San Francisco California, where he built and designed high end cabinetry for discerning clients in the Bay Area and Sonoma County wine country.

In 2011,wanting to make a life change, he sold his business and returned to his home town in Mexico where he owned and operated a boutique hotel for five years.

His love of design and interior decorating led him to real estate, where with business savvy from running a high end cabinetry shop and his strong connection to the culture of Mexico gives him a unique ability to guide his clients in their real estate needs.

As avid nature photographers and birders, he and his wife Regina love to explore the natural wonders provided by Puerto Vallarta and the greater Bay of Banderas area.
