Jack Dickerson originally from Abilene, Texas began his career as a restaurant entrepreneur operating a small chain of restaurants in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex. Restaurants operated included Garza Blanca Restaurant owned in partnership with Puerto Vallarta’s Garza Blanca Resort owner and founder. Little did Jack know that his early adult life experiences in Puerto Vallarta would lead to a future life and career on Banderas Bay.
After 10 years as an entrepreneur, Jack entered corporate America as a management consultant working for Fortune 100/500 firms - Electronic Data Systems/AT Kearney, Computer Science Corporation and Sapient. Jack’s clients included – General Motors, Disney, GE Capital, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ontario, Petroleos Mexicanos, Banco de Serfín, AIG International - Mexico City, Mutual of Omaha and GMAC, etal.
In 2003, Jack’s focus in financial services shifted to insurance. During the subsequent 17 years, Jack worked as an insurance broker and manager in the South Texas Rio Grande Valley and in the Dallas/North Texas area. Responsibilities included business development, client services, and delivery of benefits to both private and public owned companies, municipalities and school districts.
Jack is a 1988 graduate of East Texas State University – now Texas A&M Commerce - where he graduated cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting.
Today, Jack lives and works with Coldwell Banker La Costa where his early career journey began – just a short walk to Banderas Bay - with his beautiful wife Brenda. Hobbies include organic gardening, cooking Mexican food, walking, beachcombing and viewing sunsets in paradise.
