Gary Shirk has been invaluable to us both as a realtor and as a source of information and life experience as an expat living in Puerto Vallarta. We recently purchased a property in PV. It was during the pandemic and we were unable to travel there from Canada, yet we placed our trust in Gary and we can assure you, it was totally the right decision. He was simply wonderful. He helped us navigate the myriad of Mexican property purchasing laws for foreigners and he kept us apprised of the process every step of the way. He set up a WhatsApp page for correspondence and he was readily available, whenever we had questions. And boy….. did we have questions! ( We still do, and he’s still equally as helpful.) He arranged and attended our property inspection, ( shared it with us via face time) liased regularly with the seller’s realtor to ensure any issues were promptly addressed, arranged a Power of Attorney through his firm- Coldwell Banker LaCosta, provided timely information and generally put us at ease through this sometimes challenging process. Even though our purchase has closed and we officially own our property, Gary is continuing to go above and beyond to help us with things like Electricity Bills, checking for hurricane damage, setting up bank accounts in Mexico and more. He truly wants the best experience possible for his clients and we can genuinely say he has provided the best service we could have hoped for from a realtor. We whole heartedly endorse him and his services.
