My wife and I have bought and sold many houses and are not strangers to Real Estate in Canada but had little to no knowledge of Real Estate transactions in Mexico. We were very nervous considering a major investment in a foreign country with documentation that was in a language we do not speak. Had it not been for the professionalism of Keith and Donna Vickers and Coldwell Banker, we likely would never have taken the risk to fulfill our dreams of owning a place in Mexico. My wife and I want to thank Donna & Keith Vickers for their assistance in helping us find our new home in Bucerias, Mexico. We recently retired and moved fromIndianapolis to Puerto Vallarta to start a new chapter in our lives. We were drawn to the Puerto Vallarta area for the weather, beach, restaurants, the laid-back lifestyle and the warmth and traditions of the Mexican people. We found our first month here to be confusing because Puerto Vallarta has many unique neighborhoods that all have their own distinct character. We decided that we would need help – someone who could help us navigate through all the options to determine the neighborhoods best suited for us. As you may have already discovered, everyone knows someone in the Puerto Vallarta area who could assist us– most of them have no professional experience. However, we decided to go with a company that we knew from the U.S. and had a solid reputation. Therefore, we decided to use Coldwell-Banker. We went to their office at the Marina in Puerto Vallarta and met with Donna & Keith Vickers. We immediately felt comfortable with their knowledge of the area and they attentively listened to find out the things that were important to us. They drove us through many areas and showed us numerous properties. They listened to what we liked and disliked about each property so they could get a clearer picture of just what we wanted. We never felt pressured into making a decision. They were patient and we always felt that they genuinely had our best interest in mind. They asked us if we had any interest in Bucerias. Since we hadn’t heard of Bucerias and had an open mind, we decided to take a look. We were very impressed with the area and decided to look at some properties. We found a new condo development that checked all of the things on our list. It was still under construction so we needed to find a short-term rental - Donna & Keith helped us with that also. We are now in our new condo and couldn’t be happier. We can’t thank Donna & Keith enough for all their help.
