This creation is the work of the internationally acclaimed sculptor Ramiz Barquet, who is from Mexico City but has resided in Puerto Vallarta for many years. Barquet is probably better known for his monumental sculptures, many of which are well recognized symbols of this city. One of the most famous is Nostalgia, which portrays a couple sitting on the seafront.This sculpture was made by Barquet in honor of his wife, Nelly, but it was also inspired by his relentless quest for a meaningful existence. His work was the poetry in his life.............
